After a 7 week hiatus, the 3's were back in action away in a cold but sunny Rotherham, hoping to maintain their form from the first half of the season. It wasn't always pretty and the legs knew about the extended Xmas break, but the class of the 3's shone through for a 10-1 win.
Credit has to go to the opposition Goalie who excelled in keeping it to just 10 as the 3's created some great plays, finding space between the lines to cut through the opposition almost at will.
Notable mentions go to Adam Bointon who appeared to have the ball under a spell with his stick as the wand, scoring 2 in the first 5 mins. Callum Taylor who was as sharp as a scalpel, cutting through the opposition to bag 4 goals. And Rob Anderson with the accuracy of a snipper, snuck in a hat-trick. The final scorer was David McCormick who coolly slotted the ball into the bottom corner with stone cold precision.
Other mentions must go to Ellis Edwards who covered the ground like a Gazelle in the Serengeti, hassling the opposition into errors, and Isaac Anderson who used his strength and power to thwart the opposition.
The 3's host Sheffield 7's next week looking to maintain their high scoring streak!
