Winning streak over for Chesterfield after a hard fought game at Worksop resulted in a 2-2 finish with both sides falling short or a victory.
The match started with a sloppy goal conceded for chesterfield off a fast break however the lads in green quickly fired back with a well worked team goal finished off by Alex Kentfield with a good tap in the back post. The score line of 1-1 carried through to the second half however this wouldn’t last long as Worksop were the first to fire back after the break. This wouldn’t let the lads get down however as Chesterfield scored a second by the ever reliable David McCormick coming up for the short corner and making 0 mistake with the shot. After a few great saves from both keepers keeping their teams in the game the match finally resulted in a draw finishing Chesterfields well fought winning streak.
