CHC welcomes new recruit Tom Collier to Chesterfield HC. Arriving from New Zealand, the 18 year old will join up with the Men's 1st team squad ahead of tomorrow's fixture at St Mary's against Kingston Upon Hull 1s.

Tom joins Chesterfield on a season long contract and will be with the club until roughly April 2024.

Tom is a defender by trade, and was recommended to CHC by former player, and NZ import, Jaedyn Eade. Tom has played school boy hockey for PNBHS (Palmerston) 1st XI where he was also the team captain. Tom has recently been selected for the Future Black Sticks (U18) Super Camp which ran during the month of October and we wish him well on that process.

As well as playing 1st team hockey, Tom will be helping out at the club with hockey training and occasional umpiring at the club (he may even have a dabble on the club social media accounts apparently!) and we are looking forward to welcoming him into the club. When you see him, be sure to give him a Chesterfield welcome and introduce yourself to him!

The Mens 1s face Kingston Upon Hull 1s on Saturday, and the game starts from 2.30pm at St Mary's School, Chesterfield. All supporters welcome!
