1. St Mary's Pitch - visitor notes

  • All weather artifical pitch
  • Free Parking onsite
  • Onsite changing/shower and toilets
  • Fully floodlit
  • Pitch side shelters

Parking is available at the bus bay entrance to St Mary's school (this is the first entrance when heading west on Newbold road). Please be advised that if you park at the Sports Hall car park your car may get locked in - so don't park there!

We have changing and shower facilities for home and away teams. From the car park, walk up to the pitch and continue on the right hand side of the pitch. Once you have passed the tennis courts you will see the sports hall (building with blue roof) and the changing rooms are the blue doors by the tennis court end.

There are dug outs for home and away teams to store kit during the games. Please let the team finishing have an opportunity to take their kit and leave before trying to enter the dugout.

Spectators are welcome at St Mary's and are allowed onto the pitchside, but advised it is at their own safety. Spectators are also requested to stand on the opposite side of the pitch to the dugouts, which is intended for players, coaching, umpires and staff.

Please be aware that smoking & vaping are not allowed whilst onsite on the school premises.

No dogs are allowed on site at St Mary's, even including outside the fences/pitch. We would ask that you leave your best friend behind if watching a game - thanks in advance for your understanding with this.

No alcohol is allowed, or to be consumed, on the site at St Marys School pitch or changing rooms.

After the games the Men's teams go to the Brittania Inn, Old Road, Chesterfield for post match refreshments and food. The women's teams go to the nearby Rose & Crown, Old Road Chesterfield.
